Royal Enfield has launched a new ‘Royal Enfield Scram 440‘ in the adventure motorcycle segment. The starting price of this Royal Enfield bike has been kept at Rs 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom). This motorcycle has been introduced by the company in two variants, Trail and Force. This motorcycle of Royal Enfield will replace the old ‘Scram 411’, and this motorcycle has been given a powerful engine with many major updates. Scram 440 has also been given adventure-focused features along with a great design and excellent performance. So let’s know in detail about this motorcycle of Royal Enfield.

Royal Enfield Scram 440: Engine and Performance

Scram 440 is offered with a 443cc long-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This engine has a power of 25.4 bhp and a torque of 34 Nm. The engine of this motorcycle generates 4.5% more power and 6.5% more torque than the old Scram 411. The bore size of its engine is 3 mm larger, which gives better torque at low RPM. This gives the motorcycle a faster acceleration and smoother riding experience.

Apart from this, the Royal Enfield Scram 440 is given with a 6-speed gearbox, replacing the 5-speed gearbox from the old motorcycle. The gearbox of this motorcycle is given with a light clutch, which makes riding very easy. All these upgrades make this motorcycle more powerful, and this motorcycle gives a very refined and capable riding experience.

Royal Enfield Scram 440: Hardware and Design

Royal Enfield Scram 440 has a very good hardware setup. This Royal Enfield motorcycle has a 19-inch front tire (100/90 profile) and a 17-inch rear tire (120/90 profile). Talking about its braking system, it has a 30 mm front disc brake and a 24 mm rear disc brake. Additionally, it has dual-channel ABS, whose rear ABS is switchable. This switchable ABS feature gives more control during off-roading.

Talking about its suspension, the Royal Enfield Scram 440 has 41mm front forks, which give a wheel travel of 190mm. And it has a mono-shock suspension at the rear, which gives a travel of 180 mm. With this setup, the motorcycle will get a smooth riding experience on all types of roads.

Scram 440 gets dual-purpose tires (tube or tubeless option) and a ground clearance of 20 mm, making this Royal Enfield Scram 440 a perfect adventure motorcycle. The design of the Royal Enfield Scram 440 is rugged and modern, which gives it a more unique look.

The company has added many new and advanced features to the Royal Enfield Scram 440. This motorcycle has an all-LED headlight and taillight, and its indicators are halogen bulbs. And also, it has an optional pod for navigation, which tells the riders turn-by-turn navigation.
